Phil Corbett  Interview;

Welcome to Tenby Phil, How are you settling in?

Im settling in fine.  It's nice to be in a place that is so keen on it's speedway.

Since coming in from the Falcons, how have you adapted?

I've done pretty well at home, which is really pleasing.  The track suits me far better than what it did at Trent Valley, and it's nice to be Stein (Nilsen) again. We're riding well at home as a team and are starting to improve away from home aswell, which was typified i think by a narrow cup exit at the hands of Belle Vue last turn.

What do you make of the rest of the team?

They are all good boys, i know Stein from my Rugeley days, and Pawel is proving to be a great number 1. Ian Hill has been superb since he arrived, and Yuri Nikulin has yet to reach his full potential.  Peter Pearson is the rider who stands out for me though. He is a superb young talent and he has a great future ahead of him!.
